[Artemis is also in full uniform, and not only has she brought her arrows, she's taken the precaution of having her bow in her hand when she arrives on the library roof. The fact that he dropped the word "traught" is the only reason she doesn't have an arrow drawn and aimed as soon as she arrives.
But when she sees Robin, there is no doubt in her mind as to who it is. It's not like someone could have cloned him, right? Looking furious, with her bow still in her hand, she angrily marches up and... hugs him. It is exactly as awkward as you would expect a hug from Artemis to be, but she's so relieved she just can't help it.
She breaks apart quickly, possibly knocking him in the head with the bow, and immediately feels completely ridiculous. Which of course, she covers for by scowling more than ever.]
[ He freezes for the hug, because hey, they're both awkward at this, but he pats her back a little before she pulls away— aaand gets hit in the temple with her bow. ]
Ow. [ And it's so ridiculous that it breaks the tension and he actually laughs, just a little. ]
Long story I don't really understand. But, uh... the good news is I got to know you a little better.
[She does a quick run down in her mind of things that she's done and things that the Robin she's recent re-met has NOT done. Which means this is a Robin who knows her better, who has fought the Reds with her, who has also super freaking awkwardly seen her at the Gotham City zeta tube. She doesn't want this Robin--any Robin--to get to know her better, for all that he is one of the few people she privately considers a friend. There is so much that has happened in the months since she met Robin, but her brain does latch on to one particular fact...]
... and Zatanna?
[It's part test and part... well, Artemis just misses her best friend.]
[ Zatanna. Robin almost feels guilty about his little crush on her, after everything she's been through. At this point, it's almost an afterthought: she's dealing with a lot, and it— it's hard, not being able to give her so much as an "I understand." He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, not sure what news is real news, or whether this is just a test to make sure it's really him. The latter would be easier. ]
She's doing okay. I mean, considering the whole... Doctor Fate thing.
[It's terrible, because Artemis knows the kind of stress that Zatanna has gone through since her dad took the helmet of Doctor Fate, but just knowing that Robin remembers Zatanna makes her let out a relieved breath.]
Yeah, it's gotta be rough. [Understatement, but Robin has passed the test and Artemis's relief is palpable.] What happened when you left?
[She accepts the whole non-linear time line thing without arguement, since she's been ahead of these bozos from the start, but she needs to know where he is. Is he ahead of her now?]
[ He'd been ported back here right after, they hadn't even gotten back to the Cave yet, and he's still... well. Disoriented isn't nearly a strong enough word. ]
[Her complete bafflement probably answers that question in and of itself.]
The last mission was... Sportsmaster. In Louisiana.
[And damn it, why does that have to be the last mission she can lay claim to? Especially now that this is a teammate (as she suddenly remembers) who might buy in to Red Arrow's nonsense about the magic mole. It's not going to stop her from being honest, though.]
[ He does the math in his head, and it comes out better than it could have been. ]
So that's... a little less than three weeks ago. Not so bad.
[ What's bad is what happened after. It's been three weeks, and Wally's still not over it. He's a champion grudge-holder. The two of them haven't said one non-hostile word to each other since that mission. ]
[And that has been one of the only good things about being in this place. Yes, she bickers with Wally here, but it's not the same.]
And you're not going to tell him, right?
[Never mind how happy she is to see Robin--unharmed--nothing prevents her from snarling out that last statement as a fairly obviously (and desperate) threat.]
[And it's not a story that Artemis is planning to tell any time soon.]
I was in your room. [She says it abruptly and bluntly, but from what she did manage to observe there, she has a feeling that it's almost as revealing as her whole weird deal with Kid Flash.] We thought you'd been kidnapped, I was looking for clues. I didn't find anything so don't freak out.
[ It isn't, really, but he yelled at Wally already and it wasn't cathartic. What's done is done, and, well... he has a good feeling that Artemis isn't going to pry into his secrets any more than she wants him prying into hers. ]
[She looks away, uncomfortable. It's a relief knowing that Robin now remembers everything, but it's troubling too. The problems back home seem more urgent than they have in a while. Cheshire, Red Arrow, the mole...]
[ He runs a hand through his hair. It's a discomforting idea, and one he hasn't had time to give much thought to. ]
You know what's weird? I didn't remember a thing about this place. I'd always planned on telling Batman, bringing the League, getting everyone back home, but... it was like it never happened.
[ It has Robin pacing, his cape billowing behind him. It's beyond frustrating: he feels powerless, like he's being played and he can't do a thing about it. He needs a plan, and he's coming up empty. ]
I'm sorry. I should have better news than this, I should've accomplished something, I can't— I can't figure out what to do.
[Because that doesn't sound totally lame and hopeless or anything. But hey, there's already been one hug and that is one hug more than Artemis is generally used to.]
[She weakly returns his smile, suddenly feeling exhausted.
She hasn't had much sleep since Robin's disappearance, though she has no intention of telling him what she and Kid Flash did while he was gone. Let Wally try to explain that.]
Yeah... [She rubs her face] There's that stupid virtual training thing tomorrow.
[She suddenly remembers that Robin will now actually remember the first stupid virtual training thing. That's... kind of nice, actually. At least she's not alone in remembering.]

What happened!?
PERMA-ACTION
[ He freezes for the hug, because hey, they're both awkward at this, but he pats her back a little before she pulls away— aaand gets hit in the temple with her bow. ]

No problem... just don't disappear again. It was... well, Wally was a mess. You have no idea.

har har]... But that means there's nothing we can do. We're stuck here until they decide they're done with us.
